Well, it's been about 3 months since my last post.. I guess that could mean that I'm having too much fun to blog?  Time is FLYING by here, and I can't believe I'm already half way through my trip.  It's weird to think.  I am awaiting the arrival of my parents who come on Friday morning!  So happy to see them and I couldn't be more excited to show them my life here in Buenos Aires.  The past few months have been really great, although school has been super busy.  Class Monday through Saturday has been tough, and the weekends being only one day has made the weekend seem non-existent.  But, I just finished my last Saturday class until October, since I had credits for the seminar I participated in when I first arrived.  I am so happy to have finished class on the weekends for awhile.  

In May Maud and I hopped over to Uruguay to check out Montevideo.  While I always enjoying seeing a new place, I didn't find Monte to be all that great, and I definitely think Buenos Aires has a ton more to offer, as well as many more beautiful buildings.  It's very easy to get there though, only a 3 hour ferry ride, so we thought why not check it out.  We only spent one night, and it was nice to get away from the city for awhile.  No other trips have been made since then so I am super excited to get out of BA when my parents come.  We are heading to Iguazu Falls, which borders Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil.  I thought about hopping over to the Brazilian side of things, but Brazil requires Americans to have a tourist visa to enter the country - and I'm not sure I want to pay the $140 fee just to switch sides while there.  After Iguazu we are heading to Salta, which is in Northwestern Argentina.  We will be doing some traveling around the Salta area, which I have heard is really beautiful and is also home to Argentina's best empanadas (yummm!).  I'm posting some pictures of Maud and I in La Boca, a barrio in BA, and also a few shots of us in Montevideo.  I will try to become better about my blog for the last half of my time here!
